Terms of Service

1. The service

MECMISR Hitmaker is an AI-assisted music creation and social-delivery web application that helps users develop original music concepts, lyrics, hooks, production assets and release content and, where enabled, connect supported third-party platforms.

2. Eligibility and authorized use

You may use the service only if you are legally permitted to do so and can enter into these Terms. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for information you provide.

3. TikTok authorization

If you choose to connect TikTok, authorization is completed through TikTok Login Kit. You decide whether to grant requested permissions and may revoke authorization through TikTok where supported. TikTok use is also governed by TikTok's own terms and policies.

4. User content and permissions

You remain responsible for content that you create, upload, select or submit through Hitmaker and must have all rights, licenses, permissions and consents required to use that content and request its transfer to a connected platform.

5. AI-assisted content

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, similar to other content or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and confirming that final use complies with applicable law, intellectual-property rights and platform rules.

6. Publishing and TikTok content transfer

The current TikTok workflow uses video.upload to transfer a creator-selected video to the creator's authorized TikTok account as a draft after an explicit user action. Hitmaker does not use Direct Post for this workflow. The creator is responsible for final review, editing and publication inside TikTok.

7. Prohibited use

You must not use Hitmaker to violate law or third-party rights, impersonate others, distribute malware, bypass security, interfere with the service, obtain unauthorized access, send spam, manipulate platform systems or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

8. Third-party platforms and services

Integrations with TikTok and other third-party services remain subject to those providers' terms, policies, availability, technical limitations and review requirements. MECMISR does not control third-party platforms.

9. Service availability and changes

We may maintain, update, modify, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compliance, maintenance, platform changes or product development.

10. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or terminated when necessary to protect the service or users, respond to security concerns, comply with law or platform requirements, investigate abuse or address material violations of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hitmaker is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. MECMISR does not warrant that the service or AI-assisted outputs will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every intended use.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MECMISR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from use of the service, third-party platforms, user content or reliance on AI-assisted outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, applicable requirements or connected platform rules change. The last-updated date identifies the current published version.
